Early Childhood Development & Grade R at George Randell
George Randell Primary School’s ECD Unit and Grade R provide a strong foundation for children aged 4 to 6 years old in a caring, play-based learning environment. With dedicated, qualified educators and ECD practitioners in each class, supported by a full-time teacher assistant, every child receives the attention they need to thrive. Our independent unit features spaciously designed classrooms and a newly upgraded playground. We follow the CAPS curriculum with English as the Language of Teaching and Learning, creating a nurturing and structured environment where young learners can grow with confidence. Our vision is to inspire a lifelong love of learning by providing a warm, enriching foundation where every child is supported, celebrated, and empowered to grow confidently through purposeful play, strong relationships, and high-quality early education.
